Op tomorrow and woke up this morning with sore throat….

Hey girls, once again I’m panicing! Lol

I’ve got my op tomo and typically I’ve woke up tgi’s morning with a slight sore throat and a tiny bit sniffly!

Worst case scenario, if I wake up tomo with a cold will they still operate?! Anyone had any experience of this?

I’ve just called and they said the nurse will Check and call me back, high is worrying me more that they won’t. Has this happernrd to anyone else and what was the outcome??? Xxx

Just dose up today on beachums you should be fine i ad a cough but didnt tell them hope you can still have your op x

if its not bad, i would mention it just takes loads of lemsips etc today x

Thanks Hun, just spoke to the nurse who was very lovey. She said just keep dosed up on paracetomol and the anethatist will decide tomo but should be ok as really my symptoms are mild xx

Try to get some Manuka honey, its a new zealand honey with healing properties which is great for sore throats! I think they do it in Tesco’s definately in Waitrose or health food shops.
