Don’t be to nervous babe… Iv just had 600cc overs with Traynor at Preston yesterday and honestly can’t believe how well I’m doing! Admission time was 10.30am and the nurse told me at 1.30pm that I was going down in the next 2hours which annoyed me a bit coz I hadn’t eaten since 8.30pm the night before and had my last sip of water at 9am that day! Was very hungry and impatient. My boyfriend had to leave me a few times so he could go and get food as he only had card on him in the hospital! Silly boy lol. It’s a long day but it was too nerve racking which surprised me coz usually I’m a worrier!! When I finally went down to theatre it’s a bit daunting as you walk into a cold misty room and it looks like something out a horror movie lol.. The nurse is lovely tho and takes your mind off it, when the anaesthesia goes in you can’t even remember closing your eyes before they are open again and the op is done! Hello big titties! My recovery was quite amazing to me, after I got back into my room I was up and eating within that hour. Felt no pain at all. But I do appreciate every one is different. Last night I slept upright and had a solid sleep thanks to my v pillow and fan to keep me cool as I was wrapped up in my winter duvet for added comfort! In fact my alarms were the ones to wake me up every 4hours for my pain killers n not the pain. All in all a great experience so far! Good luck xx
