open rhino- how long to take off work?

Hi girls im a hairdresser im booked in to have open rhino on 16th July (a life time away!!)….but just wondering how long i should take off work? Should a week and a half be ok? Xx

Hi, I had open rhino and took 2 weeks off, as this is how long I had my cast on. Some people went back after a week, just depends if you’re comfortable to go out with the cast on your face. I work in the City, so had to avoid it!

Oh looks like i wont be going out the house for a while then, no I def wont feel comfortable going out with it! How comes you had to have your cast on for two weeks is that the reccomended time?? Thanks hun x

That’s the recommended time to have the cast on. I went back after a week to have my stitches out (just the external ones) then you go back a week after that to have the cast off x
