OT – calling all hairdressers…

I need help girls…i am naturally a mousy brown colour with blond and red tinges! I have had a full head of colour and t section highlights put through it…i want to die it one colour as close to natural as pos becuse i cant afford to have the highlights done at the min! Which box dies are best and am i right in thinkin i need to use a ash…colour? Any help wpuld be appreciated altho i no its hard as u cannot c the colour at the min xx

Defo use an ash colour or your hair will go ginger ( been there not a good look) I would go for some think by loriel cause the give the mode even cover. Fier or preference are good. Tip: ash blond comes out light xx

Lol michelle ive been there too, i used to hav highlights for years then couldnt afford it and wanted a change lol all went wrong haha! I have nwvwr found the ash bloond comes out light…arghh so jard as everyones turns out diff lol!

Don’t put ash brown on blonde it will go greeny! U need something with warmth init to cover the blonde. Y don’t u just go back & get some low lights same as your own colour put through, or let the hairdresser do it, Itl only cost you once, then ask wat colour to use & buy it yourself xxx

Oh no, i thought i should use ash to even out the warmth in my hair so confusin! Maybe i should go to hair dressers and get them to do a full head n then die it myself there after….so confusin! But everytime i jave been to hairdressers i end up ginger so they not much better lol xx

Yep you would normally but as you have blonde in it has the opposite effect! Yep just go once & then you can do it yourself xxx

Oh ok, glad u told me lol would of ended up with green highlights lol! I will have to wait til the end of the month which i really dont want to do as my roots r awful as it is and might not even b able to afford hairdresser prices then…might just buy a dye with warmth in n hope for the best lol thanks for ur help xx

I put ash blond on mine, roots looked great but all the rest that was already blond went blue, was awful had 2 dye it couple times with perfect 10 light golden blonde to get it back blonde, where u have highlights these are likely to go blue if you use ash xx

Oh no, that sounds like a nightmare, rather keep my awful roots lol thanks hannah…so i need to get a warm colour then? Can u suggest any?xx
