Ouch!

Just had the op yesterday was hardly in any pain but its gradually getting worse now! I’ve been told to keep the sports bra on for 6 weeks but I’ve had to take it off because its so uncomfortable – is it a big deal if I leave it off just while I’m sat around at home? I’ve still got the strapping on. It hurts, I want to let them roam free! Xx

Hi I had strapping n didn’t wear a bra till I went to my 1wk check then I’ve woren one everyday since. I did leave it off for a couple of hrs a night to let them breath lol and tomo I get to wear my first real bra in 6 wk.I can’t wait x

keep on top of them painkillers like clock work and look at try and get in some stronger ones in aswell, if ur already sore be warned it will more than likely get a little worse on days 3 and 4 as the pain killers from the op will be waring off, so make sure uve got sum1 looking after you.

im not too sure bout the bra tbh hun i was told not to wear one for 6 weeks, but if ur told to wear one theres prob a good reason for it, but if ur in a lot of pain maybe give it a few days and then try wearing it xx

i got told by my surgeon not to wear a bra and if i do then to not keep it on for to long xx let them roam free chic!!

Yeah its more uncomfortable isnt it rather than painful! l loved taking my boobs out just getting air to them. It does get better promise xx

Aw thanks for the advice guys! It seems like different surgeons just give different advice. Well I had taken it off but had to put it back on to cover my nipples anyway as they’ve gone so sensitive, humph!

Really tried to avoid painkillers as I don’t want to get constipated lol! But I’ve now caved Leanne please don’t say it gets worse, how can that be!!

LadyC, he’s been a little star, been doing everything for me – thank god! I’m being such a wuss, I’ve cried twice today for ni reason and even started crying when that girl cried on Britains got talent!

the pain will get worse at week 2 bloody sunburn feeling week 3 like normal

Don’t say that George, been all plain sailing for me so far, apart from sore nipples today. 5 days post op and hoping it doesn’t get worse.
