Overdone it :(

Hey girls just a tip, after having a week off recovering be really careful when you go back to doing normal stuff. I’ve just been shopping, only for a few hours after my post op appointment and now I feel SO SO weak and drained. It’s taking quite a bit to type this even, I’m quite shocked I feel like this, thought I was completely fine and really wanted to get out the house but just be prepared, your mind may be ready to carry on as normal but my body is telling me NO right now!

Thank god I’m not back at work until Tuesday!

Update on the boobies – Had my stitches out, barely felt a thing so dont worry about that stage! Incisions are still a little bit open in places so still no shower for me which I’m gutted about but I’ve had steri strips and special gauze stuff put over them which I’ve gotta have on for 2 days then I can shower. They’re still like rocks though grrr! xx

Oh you poor thing. Hang in there and take it easy, Internet shopping for me post op xxx

Hiya! Know the feeling I’m 8 days post op today ! Decided go back work for a few hours, I’m a hairdresser! Boy can I feel it now im aching all over! My ribs are really sore? Is that normal? I felt fine all week no pain at all so thought I’d be fine go back work but still need a few more days I think. Had my dressings off yesterday and nurse said no need to cover them but woke this morning and there was a tiny bit of blood on my bra, checked it and there was a bit of scab that had come of so think it was that! My left as softened but my right Is still hard and high = / x

Kelly I’ve been over doing it 2 7 days po 2day had my dressings off etc got steri strips on ! I can’t showe 4 another week but I’ve felt fine since day 3/4 & going out and feel so drAined now duvet day 2moro 4 me …us girls never rest do

I started going for short walks at 1 week post op and couldn’t believe how tired I got. I went back to work at 2 weeks and I only work in an office but even that wore me out! Also, be careful when bending, I bent over the filing cabinet and my left boob burnt. xx

I was 16 days po b4 I felt confident driving! 2nd and 5th gear was a nightmare! It’s just like u have no strength in your upper body. It’s been so annoying! x

Its so frustrating though isn’t it girls? I just wanna be back to normal! Being cooped up in the house just did my head in! I’m out today going to visit my boyfriend and I’ve put new steri strips on my incisions but my right one is killing me today! Really achy and sore think its probably something to do with having my back on that shoulder? Its not overally heavy but its all I can think of. That and my bra is resting on them a bit xx
