overnight stay

hey girls

has anyone stayed overnight after the BA if so would you say it the best option just not sure on what to decide yet.

I stayed over night and thought it was the best option, you get a nurse constantly checking up on you which is good and after coming out of a General Anesthetic you are so tired and drowsy all you want to do is sleep anyway xxx

I wouldn’t recommend it. I had 410 unders which are meant to be more painful than overs and I was fighting fit to come out same day. You haveso much pain killers inside you anyway that you just sleep afterwards. Last thing i’d want is someone coming in every 5 minutes checking my blood preasure and being charged £400 extra for the privilege!

If your a daycase & not well enough to come home they make you stay with no extra cost anyway.

I just stayed in hotel down the road for £67 a night so at least I was close enough xxx

Fairydust did u ave ur op at Highgate? If so where did u stay. Im trying 2 find somewhere 2 stay close by x x

Aww thanks for that fairydust that is good to know that if you are a little unwell they will keep you, and i could spend the £400 on new underwear lol

I actually stayed in a travel inn in Borehamwood which is about 15 minutes from Highgate. Or there’s the comfort inn finchley which is the closest(All rooms were booked here when I needed one though). x

I did daycase at highgate – couldn’t wait to be allowed home! Don’t get me wrong – the hospital is great – but I was starving so hubby picked me up an we went with kids to pizza express – I had 3 course meal! Lol! Everyone is different though…x

You having unders or overs?

No I felt fine – but I have breastfed 2 babies so was just fuilling skin that had already been stretched – might be quite different if your stretching skin?! I would describe feeling after like you have done too many situps, but only on the muscles at the top of your ribs – across the front, under boobs. Arms a little bit weird/weak for a while too – but not weird enough to stop me eating my dinner! Lol x

Unders defo more painful too – I had overs x
