Overnight stay or day case?? Started by: kimmystella

I went to my initial consultation today for BA and was informed of everything etc. One thing I forgot to ask is can you opt out of staying over night in hospital? I’ve had a lot of surgery in the past (medical not cosmetic) and am always fine afterwards and have someone to look after me for the first 24hours, just always want to get home. I don’t live far at all from the hospital?

I also believe this effects the overall cost? Is this true?

Can someone offer me some advice please :)

    Thank you!

The day case is certainly less expensive, but it will depend on your procedure, contact your PC,tell her how you feel and she may be able to arrange this for you, lots of members have been a day case honey.xxx
