overnite stay

what do you need to take for an overnite stay? want to make sure i dont forget anything.

Dont bother taking in PJ’s!! Or anything but your mouthwash, hairbrush and slippers! You’ll be given paper knickers, surgical stockings and a gown! (how beautiful we all look pre-surgery!) Good luck xx

magazines, phone n charger, drinks and snacks (i took bottled water and orange juice, chocolate,yougurts) ,ipod, v pillow…erm……erm…….i cant think of anything else yet?? xx

do you get changed into your PJs after the op or do they keep you in the gown? I’m booked in for this Friday and soo nervous. Silly things like how do you get your sports bra on if you can’t move your arms – does the nurse do this for you?

I had my op on 12th july, and had 410 overs from a 34A i took with me my charger, a dressing gown, so pj’s that i changed into before the op, so sweets that i didnt eat cos iwas just so tired i couldnt keep my eyes open! an a change of clothes for the morning! i did take a sports bra but i had mr K so had tape so i didnt wear a ba untill the tape was off cos he does it so tight you dont need to, but i think the nurse puts it on for you wen you wake up, i also had wear my gown untill the morning but you can change into you pjs i just didnt want to get up cos the drains made me feel sick! dont forget a camera too! and maybe a book or a magazine cos i was so tired while people came to see me but as soon as it got to 12 i was wide awake and there was nothing on telly so i stayed up reading! good luck you will be fine x x x

thank you for that going in on 27th august and getting really excited and nervouse at the same time, i am having Dr Singh, unsure if im having 460 or 525, Dr Singh advised he will tell me one the day, as i am only 5ft 2″, 8st 5lbs, so i dont want to look like Jordan!!!!!! i only have 10 days off after so i hope i will be ok to go back to work on 6th sept,

good luck alicat – i am booked in with Mr Singh at Highgate on Friday….i’m soo nervous i feel sick when i think about it! Apparently he’s one of the best tho Did he mention anything to you about sports bras? he said to me that he creates his own kind of bra by strapping you up and that i won’t need to where one at first – did he tell u the same? xx

yes but i have brought 3 sports bras, good luck for friday and tell me how you get on with Dr Singh, he is soooo lovely, i feel excited and nervous aswell, what size are you having?
