Hey girls! Watched some YouTube videos of other surgeons talking and done some research on over and under the muscles….almost everything I’ve read has given more cons for overs and one surgeon even said he would never recommend getting them over the muscle as they look more fake, more chance of rippling and seeing the implant. Now I’m really worried because I’m supposed to be having overs on the 18th April. Would I be able to change to unders on the day of my op? I didnt even ask Dr Traynor about why i should have overs becaus i didnt really think about it at the time. I’m a size 8, 34B getting 415s xxxx

Don’t worry Jaz – Mr T will have said overs for a reason – for your body and shape and amount of tissue. He wouldn’t do unders for me as I had tissue and he said there would be a risk of double bubble. Loads of girls have overs and they don’t look fake – mine don’t, and loads of other girls’ on here don’t. I know girls with rippling on unders and overs, it’s more to do with your tissue and skin. Mr T would have told you if he thought you were at any particular risk – he told me I was as my skin was thin. There are risks with both over and under. Don;t stress hun, Mr T is one of the best there is, he knows what he is doing. Good luck – just look forward to fab boobies! x

My friends surgeon said he would never do aeriolar incisions because of the risk of necrosis. Every surgeon has their preferences and beliefs. Just like some surgeons agree that strapping is useful, and others agree it doesn’t make much of a difference. Back in Canada, my friend only had to sleep upright for 2 days, and was able to shower after 3, and hers turned out great, but here in the UK its at least a week. At the end of the day you just need to weigh out the pros and cons, but also trust that your surgeon isn’t going to turn you into a monster lol. If overs were a truly terrible idea they wouldn’t be available. But still remember that at the end of the day its up to you, your surgeon can’t force you to do things a certain way. Xx

Wish k hadnt of watched that šŸ™ does that mean if u need a future re op for whatever reason ur ligaments will have been damaged too much holding the implant and they wouldnt look full and pert again? So confused as i am only 20 and will more than likely have it done again in my life time and now am worried they r just going to be a saggy mess they cant fix in years to come šŸ™ xxx

Hey this site seems to give a more balanced guide to overs and unders and why you might opt for onr or the other in individual cases. http://www.dbreath.com/documents/guidetobreastaugmentation-knoxville.pdf
