I’m 12 days post op, had 525cc overs I can do pretty much everything now…but I’m still not over doing it and still taking pain relief every now and again (but more because I have a 11 month old and its hurting my back when I pick him up!)
I’d say days 2-5 are the worst, just carrying on taling your pain relief and you should be ok.
The op its self is a breeze, one minute I was being put to sleep and what felt like a few minutes later I was being woken with it all done. I was very sleepy the day I had it done and didnt feel any real pain til day 2, I’d say that was definatly the worst night but as long as you take your pain relief and dont over do things you’l be fine. Its more of a dull pain and uncomfortness really. I was a 34A before. xx
i totally agree with alilou… it’s uncomfortable for days 2-5.. i had mine done on Wednesday, i stopped taking pain killers regularly after a few days and just found the stitching sore in the morning when i had to get up so i’d take them first thing in the morning and last thing at night… i started driving yesterday (day 5) but i found it was more comfortable to drive really close to the wheel as my arms weren’t stretched so it pulls less but I’ve been able to Hoover and was able to wash my hair after 2 days… as long as i did everything slowly and consciously i was fine and concentrate on what muscles i was using before i did anything.. i had 410 overs but i am lucky as my children are 6 and 10 and i told them I’ve hurt my back so they know to be gentle
Oh fab ladyluck who did yours? I had Mr.Singh at Highgate on the 18th Aug. I was also hoovering and washing my hair on day 2 I was just careful. Was able to pick my 11mth old up from day 4, but he weighs a ton so had to be careful my other children are 5,7 and 8 so just told them I had a bad belly….although there is no fooling my 7 year old and she asked straight away why my boobs were bigger…..my bra I told her….lol. xx
