Overs healing

Hi Girls, iv heard over tend to settle quicker, how quickly do they tend to drop and sit naturally? and do they heal quicker than unders? I know you see the result quicker….
im having overs in 9 days xx

Hey Hun, I had overs and I hardly had any pain just tightness.. Had full use of arms since day 1 even though I didn’t use them.. It was very easy to be honest, but I have been diligent in advice given in recovery though. Followed the advice from nurses and doc to a tee, it’s just not worth doing anything prematurely and risking your healing.. Overall I found it very easy.. I found that mine haven’t really changed much from week 4, I’m now 7 wks PO.. Xxx

You see the final result sooner definitely. I’m nearly 11 weeks post op and they have dropped nicely. They haven’t really changed from about week 6/7 in my wxperience but my skin is very tight x

@chipmunk thank you! good to hear, I definitely wont be using my arms or doing anything too much. how have you been? are you feeling happier about it or are you still talking to your PC/Surgeon?xxx

@cwinch hey Hun, I’m doing ok. I’m feeling a bit better but still not 100% happy if that makes sense.. I’ve had to send more pics to PC which she forwarded to surgeon.. He’s aware of situation and I’m seeing him next week, so I’ll see what he says.. They haven’t got any bigger the last few weeks, just slightly changed shape.. Think my dropping has levelled out now, so don’t think size gonna improve at all ? my family have all said they look great, but also did say they not as big as they thought I was gonna get/ wanted. Xxx

@chipmunk ah hope it all goes well and works out for you. see what the surgeon has to say next week. let us know though. I had my surgery in 9 days and starting to freak out! xxx

what is the difference between unders and overs? im having unders will this look different then overs and will under the muscle hurt more then overs? xx

hi @lynzzi25 they generally give unders if you don’t have much breast tissue or enough stretch in the skin. what size are you currently? I think unders take slightly longer to settle because the muscle has to stretch and heal as well. under the muscle is meant to feel like you have really over done it at the gym.
with overs you don’t get the muscular pain, just the surgical pain xxx
