I generally have a really high pain threshold, but this is so much worse than I expected, I can barely move, struggle to sit up, stand up, even hurts pulling my knickers up after a wee…. Is it meant to be this bad? Anyone? Xx

Your not alone I’m 4 day post op now and I’m in agony. Especially in right boob. My left has been amazing. Soo tight and sore across right xx

hey how many days are u post opp ? i am now 3 days and i seem to be a little better , but keep on top of your pain killers i put my alarm on at night so i was taken them every 4 hours on the dot ,

Hey nat, I’m less than 24 hrs post op, did you have overs or unders? I’ve took the painkillers through the night on time too, but don’t think they’re making much, if any, difference? Never felt pain like it xx

Yea @jade my worst day so far was yesterday which was 3 days post op. I have unders to and generally are a lot more painful than overs. Just gets you worried when one is quite a bit more sore than the other. I’m right handed so thought that’s why my right is more painful than left. Xx

Oh god so I have worst to come?! Haha not good at all, I’m right handed too but my right is slightly better, don’t know whether its just stronger? What painkillers do you have? Xx

I’m afraid mine did get worse yea but don’t worry it’s just in the morning and becomes bareable. Never at any point has it not been manageable pain xx

Hi jade, I was the same day 2 it kicked in and I was in agony I did not expect a ba to be so painful to be honest!!!! Even the painkillers the nurses gave me at hospital didn’t work – had two lots of morphine, painkillers on a drip to get into my system quicker and 2 lots of dissolvable paracetamol and nothing worked I couldn’t believe it! So yes Hun it is normal by day 4-5 u will be back to normal xxx

Well not normal cos i didn’t feel normal till I had that strapping off at 7 days post op, but I didn’t need painkillers from day 4-5 and started to do more normal things x

Well thank yous at least I know I’m not alone with this.. I have codeine phosphate and just isn’t doing anything…. Hopefully I start picking up in a couple of days then….it’s the strapping too, so itchy and uncomfortable, the things we do for boobies! Xx
