Pain

I’m on day 7 and I tried to go to the grocery store to buy some thing and cried my whole way home because of how much pain I was in (I was only at the store for about 20 minutes) so when I got home I couldn’t deal with it and had to take another pain pill. Is it normal to still hurt like this on day 7, how do some people go back to work like this?? I can barley leave my house and or drive

What pain meds were you given? Are you taking ibrefen? X

Day ten was a turning point for me Hun x

I haven’t been taking my pain killer, I’ve been using a over the counter, I stopped my pain killer on the 4th day. But today I had to take it. They make me feel sick but make my pain go away! I hope I can get through this I just hurt so bad when I try to do anything other than just walking around the house.

Try ringing the number your given after surgery and enquire regarding some exicerise routines you could try to help ease the pain, might be worth seeing your GP for a lower dose pain relief maybe try 15% Codeine and paracetamol xx

Every recovery will be different. It is completely normal to feel like this even 10 days post op. No one expects you to be able to do anything more than walk around at this stage.

I know it’s hard and frustrating, but give your body time to recover properly. Your 7 days post op and went grocery shopping, that’s rushing it for any girl post op no matter what they feel like.

The pain meds made me sick too. Nausea is horrendous. I didn’t leave my house the first week other than to sit in my garden. I really hope you look after yourself and the pain goes away soon xxx

Okay so for the next week I should take it easy and try to stay at home? I don’t want to over do it

Yep, a surgeon literally stuffed you like a Kiev twice. The most I’ve done since my op was be a passenger In a car for an hour and the nausea made that bad enough. Recovery is very boring but Netflix is your friend. Instagram is great too for girls in the same boat xx

I’m day 8 and pain and bruising is still so bad and I am still on strong pain killers. I have 2 kids so unfortunately I can’t do much relaxing. As the other girls were saying, everyone has a a different recovery time.
I had unders which do have a longer recovery time.
I certainly wouldn’t manage to drive or be at work just now even though its just a desk job x
We are over the worst ?

I also have unders I’m now on day 8! Taking it easy today sitting on the porch in the sun

Go pharnacy ask for Max strength iburofen 400mg if i. Have bad pain especislly after root canal in teeth numbs me up fab stuff u take one best thing xc
