Pain after ba…

From experience please can someone let me know when it gets better just had mine done today. Will it get worse before it’s gets better? xxx

For me it did get worse before it got better hun…days 3-5 were the worse for me! Keep taking the painkillers and the anti biotics xx

just had mine yesterday evening – bk home now. still reli tight and sore :S

Aww just want them all healed and pain free haha! I’m very impatient thanks for letting me know so I can prepare myself. Xxx

i know how you feel hun, i just want to be healed and i’m 3 weeks post op now, but i had an uplift too…You will be fine, if you ever get worried then don’t hesitate to phone the nurse – i rang her a few times and felt better afterwards xx

good luck girls in there first week like jo said take the pain killers and antibiotics im in week 2 and it gets so much better no pain at all, you’ll see a differents every day.xxx

Pain I had was immediately after I woke up and the nurse gave me some pain killers, since then I’ve not had any pain or been uncomfortable at all. It’s really strange, I keep waiting for a bad day but just seems to be getting easier. I think I must really be one of the lucky ones unless it’s really delayed and I’m going to get it next week!! I’ve got to keep reminding myself not to do too much because I just feel fine! Xx

Did u have overs or unders Suzy? And what size? I want a recovery like urs in 2 weeks time! xx

I’m 2 weeks post op and can’t believe how much better I am day after day. Once you get the first week out of the way, it’s a breeze. x

Well I was convinced I was having unders, that’s what the surgeon told me in my consultation. I had researched and prepared for unders and after the op the surgeon came to discharge me and I was asking some questions about unders and he said I had sub fasias! I asked what they was because I was really confused, thought I was having unders and he told me off a bit, said I should’ve known all this before the op. I was really embarrassed! Apparently sub fasias are over the muscle but under the fasia which is the think bit of tissue at the front of the breast. So…. I think it’s more like having overs, pretty much exactly the same as overs. From what I’ve seen on google there’s no real benefit of having what I had so I’m still a bit confused! Wasn’t prepared at all! I’m not sure if I heard him wrong or he got mixed up but either way they’re here now and there great I love them! I really have had hardly any pain at all and moving around like normal! Xx

Ha ha jury saw the waffle I posted! I had dr fallahdar and 340s. Really happy with the shape and size, they’ve still got loads of settling to do but I can tell they’re going to be a good shape already. My scars are starting to get quite itchy but other than that they feel fine. What are you having? I’m going to put pics up when I’m back at work on Monday, can’t seem to do it from my iPhone! Xx

I’m having 380 overs with Mr Traynor.I’m just having 2nd thoughts now about whether or not to go for the inspira soft touch vs CUI.He didn’t seem keen on the inspira range tho.What did u have Suzy? xx

I stopped taking the pain killers a couple if days ago, they were making me really bloated and I just felt like I didn’t need them at all. Only thing I think that’s been bad is I’ve felt quite down but doc said that’s normal after any surgery xx

I didn’t get given a choice! I just had the regular CUIs high profiles. I wanted 380s but my doc said he thought 340s would be perfect size for me. Must admit a bit bigger might have been nice but then you can get too greedy, also I was worried about stretch marks as I’m really probe to them, the bigger you go the more chance of them. Sara on here had 380 overs and hers are great xx

Yeh the anaesthetic makes u feel like pants supposedly! I think I’m gonna stick with CUIs cos at least they’ve stood the test of time whereas these inspiras are quite new aren’t they? 380 was the max I was offered,was initially thinking 340s but there’s not much between them looking at the actual implants so don’t wanna regret not going for max size.I really hope I have as good a recovery as u cos I’m a bit crap with handling pain! xx

Yeah go for 380s hun, like you said there really isn’t much difference between them. I love my size but could easily have that little bit extra. I’m nit really sure about the inspiras, I didn’t get told about them. I think there’s pros and cons for both. It’s whatever you think feels right although the surgeon does know best so I’d go with what he suggests. When’s your op? Xx

I was in agony straight after jj and still very very sore today! I feel like my bottom ribs are broken!! The pain killers don’t seem to ease the pain either! I’m sat with frozen veg on at the minute hoping it will ease the swelling! I’m sure we will be ok in a few days x

bit of a random thing but its from what suzyp said on her posts, ive heard if your scars are itchy you can blast them on a low setting with cool air and it really helps xx

I’m feeling in more pain this morning didn’t get a very good nights sleep and think I may have taken to many co codomols as I felt really sick earlier… I hope it’s all worth it! I’ve got a 3 hour journey home soon… need to get some ice packs I think lol. How sar you both feeling? Xxx

Oh really? I’ll have to bare that in mind when I get my plasters off tomorrow. They are starting to bug me now! Xx

im feeling the same as haylz1 im 2 days po now and im getting really bad head aches and feel like im hunching over all the time as well really hope the pain starts to get less and less over the next few days , what pain killers is everyone taking ? xx

I’m taking co codomol and putting frozen peas on my boobs! The frozen peas are helping Alot so give them a try! I’m feeling much better than I did earlier! The cocodomol are making me very bloated so I’ve had a dose of the lactulose too!!
