pain around side of ribs.. like a bruised feeling :( is this normal after op?

I’m 7 days post op. Just wondering why I’m feeling it now so sore? X

Lots of members have posted that they experienced similar,if you are worried honey,give the nurse a quick call,I think sometimes we can ache more from been immobile,but check with your nurse anyway,xxx

Have they? I think I will was going to see if any1 new what could be before I rang her. Thanks tina xxx

I was exactly the same after mine I have also got a pain in my left shoulder blade that feels like bruising pain too my sides have gone off knew and I am 15 days post op but still got the pain on off in my shoulder blade. I think it’s just probably for being pulled about.

I had exactly the same thing my seem to be ok knew and I am 15 days post op so they will get better.

Hi ya I’m 9 days and yesterday and today I feel sore and bruised under my arms and ribs too so try not to worry to much Hun xx

god that was the worst bit for me, felt like id been kicked in the ribs! dont worry hun the worst is over x

Hi sarsar, I feel more bruised & swollen today, it’s easing off a bit now. But earlier thismorning was by far the worst I’ve felt. Hope you feel better tmrw. Have a lovely Xmas xx
