pain from stitches!!

hey girls, im getting quite a bit of pain on my left side where the sports bra is resting on my stitches, the nurse said on the day of the op it would be uncomfortable on the stitches but its been fine until now, and its reallly hurting. Im 3 days post op. Is this normal? i cant take sports bra off yet, not supposed to till i have stitches taken out! xx
