Hello ladies i am 3 days po and have more pain in my right boob than my left i have wondered if this is because i am right handed and have been using this arm more. It feels a bit more swollen on my right side than my left but the pain is at the bottom of the breast towards my side if that makes sense rather than central anyone have any knowledge on this ??

    cheers girls x

Hi bekkyb u have messaged me regarding my bad experience ive just read this and i think this is pretty normal, you probably have bad bruising i was in lots of pain for a week but it does eventually go although my experience hasnt been great as you know but dont let this put you off it is normal to get pain like this, when your asleep you will move without realising and this can cause discomfort also the swelling is extremely sensitive and just being right handed and using that will work the muscle slightly more than the other side, u will probably find that this pain will switch sides and then hopefully dissapear xx

bekkyb – i have this too, only in right boob which is harder than my left at the moment, 6 days post op and my left is softening and starting to feel normal, right is taking its time and is harder t touch with this pain, i put it down to being right handed too, hope it dissappears without switching sides! x

it does seem quite common with us girlies so i dont think we have anything to worry about i have a bit more bruising and swelling on the side, which has meant iv had to go up a back size with my bra which has eased some of the pain today so i recommend doing that.x
