So im guessing from peoples posts you only get given ibuprofen and paracetemol and 1 more thing.. Is there any tablets you would recommend me to get before to help with the pain after?? Xx

I’m not with MYA but had my op today and have only been having paracetamol (2 every 4 hours) I have been offered liquid morphine but it makes me feel really sick so refused the offer xx

Your GP may prescribe naproxen or something similar if you find you’re in a lot of pain xx

I’ve had mine with Nuffield health. Just had some liquid morphine as gone 10 hours with no pain relief and wouldn’t reccomend doing that lol. I’m having my drains removed later and can’t wait as they’re what causing the discomfort xx

Oh right i see good luck with having your drains out! This is probably a daft question but how do you get it from your gp? Just over phone because i know if i ring my doctors you can never been seen for over a week! Lol xx
