    Hey pretties,

Just wondered, do you have to take cocodemal (can’t spell that!), or can you just take regular pain killers? And has anyone got any recovery stories to tell me. I’m really worried that I’m going to feel like absolute poo!!

    Thank youuu xx

I think you have to go careful as my surgeon said I couldnt take ibues due to them being blood thinning, I got given co-drydromols(CANT SPELL NEITHER LOL) ask the surgeon before you leave the hospital tho hun and well im prob not the best person to re-assure that you wont because I felt bloody awful unfortunatly xx

you dont have to have co-codamol. i asked my surgeon that aswell. he can give you something else if you want, even if they are just strong ibuprofen or something. i’ve asked to have co-drydromol and they’ve said yeah xxx

First few days I took codeine and paracetomol AND diclofenac. However after a few days I realised that dic was making me feel worse and increased bloating etc so went on to ibuprofen and paracetomol. That seemed to ease things and at week two I wasn’t feeling brill but semi human again. Pain management quite important I realised x

is it the co-codomol that can make you constipated? i have paracetemol and coedine but i usually take nurafen when im in any kind of pain, and they work best for me, but i was told no ibuprofen at all?? is that right? x
