Ladies, i am meeting my surgeon next week but wanted to hear from those of you who have had the op, what is the pain honestly like? i am very squeamish and have a really low pain intolerance so i really worry about the entire procedure…even being knocked out! i read that most say its achy, but having the drains taken out is PAINFULL…..be honest with me ladies pwease 🙂 thanks in advance!! 🙂 xxxx

Hi Jenny, I am just 24hours post op and the pain is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be.

For me it is an ache but right now while I’m typing I have no pain whatsoever …. I had 400cc overs from a 34B And my surgeon doesn’t use drains so can’t help on the drain front.

    Hope this helps
    Xx

I had my op yesterday morning and haven’t had to take painkillers once. It’s just like a pressure on my chest and a bit uncomfortable but not painful. I do have quite a high tolerance to pain though. I had drains and was dreading it as if read having them out was so painful but I literally didn’t feel a thing! You’ll be fine x

Hi i had my op on wed and have been really suprised at how little pain i have been in. It really is like an ache, i have however been suprised at how much help i have needed, my bf has litterally had to pull my pants up and down when i have needed a wee (sorry too much info) and i havent really been able to eat much ws lifting a spoon up to my mouth pulls my muscle which is abit u comfortable and im scared i do somthing wrong so i have been keeping it safe with limited arm movements! The worst pain for me is in my back from having to sleep at a 45degree anglr, hope this helps ? xxx

    Hiya,

I’m 2 days post op – had a lift and enlargement (375cc HP round) on Wednesday at the Preston clinic. I am shocked at how great I feel, a little stiff in the mornings until I get up and mobile – but honestly I am fine. Just not lifting but doing her wrap things like pottering around the house making a cup of tea & reading. Keep on top of the pain killers and you will be fine! Xxx

Hiya, I am 4 days post op today and I have the lowest pain threshold ever! I literally have had no pain other than a shooting pain in one of my incision sites every now and again but apparently it’s normal! I think the most annoying thing for me at the minute is the constant burning sensation as I start to get feeling back in my nipples and the random re-swelling of my boobs just when im sat there! It is literally just the aching that prevents you from doing anything, feels like you have an elephant sat on your chest! I tried to grate some cheese last night and it took me about half an hour because my boobs kept getting in the way ?? xx

@ashytonnn I shouldn’t laugh but you saying grating cheese with your boobs getting in the way made me giggle!

Happy healing ladies 🙂 ❤️ Xx
