Painful Nipples :(

I’m 4 weeks post op and my nipples are so sore! My boobs feel ok now, still a bit tender but ok in general and are softening each day. However, if I catch my nipple with clothes or my boyfriend touches them, they kill. It feels like someone is cutting them open with a very sharp knife, even water (from the shower) hurts when it catches them!

Anyone else experiencing this? x

My nipples feel really sensitive, not in a good way either lol, in a painful way, sometimes i get sharp shooting pains in them as well, i think its all aprt of nerve endings and healing

Hey..i’m 3 and half weeks post op and mine are a bit sore, not too painful but they have got more sore over time. I hope they don’t get any worse. Sure it will pass for you though, like you say its all part of healing x

Mine seem to have got worse since the tape has been removed. I’m hoping it’s just cos my implants are really stretching my skin and nipples at the moment and that as they soften it will go back to normal! Fingers crossed x

Mine are the same, granted Im only 12 days but have heard so many people say their nipples went crazy sensitive. Was your incision on the crease? X

Hi Jayne, no my scars are underneath my breasts, the surgeon didn’t touch my nipples at all (as far as I’m aware). I was under the impression that you lost feeling in your nipples whereas mine are really sensitive. Mind you, when I had kids, I couldn’t breast feed because they got so sensitive so maybe it’s just my body x

I had my BA 4 days ago, so mine are bloody super sensitive at the mo.

lol… are you pleased with them? Mine are getting softer now and moving closer together. I had 560 med-high profile unders so I’ve been told it’ll prob be up to 3 months before they look something like I want them. I’ve gone from a 36a/b to a 36 DD, yipee! x

Yeah i love them. I had 380 overs and am easily filling a 34DD. Mine are quite soft,they are quite close together, cant wait for my hols so i can get a bikini on and get some sun on them!

I go back to see my surgeon on thursday, oh my god cant wait, am sick of having shallow baths!

I’ll be happier when they’ve finished softening and come closer together. When I first had my tape removed (the week after the op) they were under my arm pits but they’re almost together now although I can’t push them together yet, my muscles are still too hard. I can’t wait to be able to wear nice, sexy bra’s and sleep with no bra on. I feel shattered just from how careful you have to be when you’re sleeping lol!

My boyfriend’s getting use to them now as well. At first he was unsure and thought they didn’t suit me but as the weeks have gone on and they’re adapting to my body shape, he thinks they look great

Jill .. did U have unders?? I’m 2 wks post op with unders and keep worrying about the gap I got where I want my cleavage to be .. they move a smidge and softening more … but not close by far?!?!

My nips have been that (not nice) sensitive I’ve been swapping the bra for a tight vest top for a few hrs every day cos it’s too much to handle .. naughty but nice!!! also find if I get a little shiver it hurts my nips, and the weight of a dressing gown on body etc….

oooooooooooh the dressing gown on the body omg the memories i abandoned mine for weeks and just used it again 2day lmao

Wow .. it’s ace to know when we all think ‘why is this happening me’ it’s not the case at all .. it’s the same for everyone.

Fairplay to all the ladies on here .. if it wasn’t for this Forum I’d prob be in a mental home because of worryig so much by now!!!

Its all normal hun, I have been using tommie tippie cooling nipple pads cools and moisturises plus stops rubbing on your bra x x
