Panicking!!

Have just removed tape as was making me itch like mad – the plasters over my incisions are blood stained, is this normal!? Surely as its stitched up I shouldn’t have been bleeding?? Xxx

It could have been some blood from the new incisions honey,I had dried blood on my tape the nurse cleaned it up at first appointment and put fresh dressings on,give her a ring if you are worried,xxx

Okay well it’ doesn’t look like fresh blood it’s dried up. I’m worried I might of itched the incisions to much and split the stitches or something? But then again I’ve not been in any major pain. Had I split stitches I’m sure I’d know about it? Oh god I’m doing my own head in lol x

lol,its easily done honey,we worry so much that something will go wrong,its perfectly normal,itching is a good sign of healing,xxx

The tape/plaster things on mine had blood on I think everyone’s does I had quite a bit on my right & hardly ant on the other! I panicked when I saw it too lol xx

I had loads of blood on one of my dressings and barely any on the other so was dead worried and when it came to having my stitches out was a wreck, however all for nothing! If anything the boob that had the blood all on the dressing has the slightly better scar! xxx
