Panicking :( why cant MYA actually ring back within a day not a week

Its been coincidences that I’ve found out my own info from ringing reception with a quick question then hearing “oh your file is out here because you need another pre op” erm.. ok shouldnt someone have told me this sooner since its not 2 weeks til my op date?!

then been ringing to find out blood test results coz i was worried and got them today and its fine but my file says they need info from my doctor on my last blood test (5 years ago) , why did I only find this out this way?! and when are they going to ring my doctor since its now less than a week til op ‘( im so terrified im going to have my date moved and its not my fault!! I just dont understand and tried to ask the receptionist and she just said the nurse will ring tomorrow, last time i heard this it took them a week to ring me! i dont HAVE a week going to ring all day tomorrow but just needed to rant.. ive tried to remain calm with the terrible contacting service but its getting too much now
