    |was in Parkhill on a Sunday and they dont have kitchen staff in to cook on Sundays. My boyfriend was there from 8am until 9pm. We paid some extra money so he couls eat. I think he got something at 12ish which was hot and had a ham sandwich at teatime. Luckily we had packed some food. I was still in recovery at lunchtime so i didnt eat and was really sleepy at teatime so just had toast. I didnt have the lovely meal I often read about on here.

The day nurses were lovely but my night shift nurses werent so caring. My drains were leaking and I was lying in blood on the bed and my gown was covered on one side. She wouldnt help me out of bed to the toilet and she didnt change my bed or gown. I struggled myself and was a bit upset. A trainee male nurse came to check on me a bit later and he was really nice. I would normally have been embarassed by a male nurse but was grateful of help.

The nurse in the morning was lovely.

I didnt complain and I agree that its a lot of money but I would rather have Mr Kazzazi giving me perfect boobs than someone else and some nice ice cream later. I think he only works from two hospitals and the surgeon was more important than the hospital.

I guess my message to any pre op people reading this is sometimes Parkhill doesnt have the greatest ‘reviews’ but you will be very happy with the results and thats the most important thing.

Aww that was a nice post bellebo. Makes me feel a bit better :) I suppose you are right, it’s the surgeon, not the hospital….but I can’t help thinking it’s a shame they don’t perk up the hospital experience considering the price we pay. Ah well…new boobs in 48 hours!!!!!!!! xx

In brief I had same issues as you guys. Staff that didn’t give a crap. Students often providing the care. I got an egg sandwich out of them for dinner and a slab of McDonalds egg, 1 sausage and 1 rasher of bacon and some cold toast for breakfast. Had to fight for pain relief. Husband had to leave at 8.30pm and not allowed back until 9.30am. During this time I had to call on the nurses to help with the littlest thing and they kept huffing and puffing about it. Felt like an nhs hospital and I’ve been in enough to know what it’s like and the food on nhs is better. I paid £4250 and definately don’t think the hospital was good enough. So I’ve put in a complaint. However mr k was brilliant and I love my boobs :-) xx
