patient coordinator? I didn't get call text before, nothing after anyone else?

Hi I’ve not heard from my PC at all? I text her I text her again asking about funny sounds in boob lol and about booking in to see nurse she said she would call me today heard nothing! She had said she would call today and sorry she had been off for a few days (I’m guessing running up to my op) but your 1 text isn’t hard not impressed

Have you tried calling them? I have to say I’ve been lucky and mine has always replied within a few hrs. Maybe give them a call or email them, not that u should have to chase! But if u have questions u need to get them answered! Xx

Hiya amy, ye tried to call mine, just went to answer phone. Not sure if I have her email adress but i will look now. Luckily my questions get answered on here thanks to all the girls. Hopefully I will have the nurses after my ba x x

Who is your PC?

Mine is Jodie and I can never get in touch with her! I’ve emailed, rang and text! In the end I got through to someone called Gemma, I’m still waiting for a reply to something I asked last week though

What office are you girls? Holborn clinic Hannah I had, she has been great up until now seems once confirmed and booked not a lot contact yet before there was hmmm personally has changed my view and I’d of rather gone with my surgeon private but my new car delivery become available so my savings went why I financed with mya x

Maybe it is just me or they just have to many customers and arnt able to handle the work load of follow up calls and maybe because this is my back ground I know what my customers expect why I automatically feel others would take the same lead but hey lol x

My op is at Highgate next Friday, My first consultation was at Nottingham and Jodie was great really lovely, I booked and paid the deposit the same time!

Jodie rang me when I got in to confirm the date and that was that.

I never even knew about a pre op until I read on here.

I think maybe they have too many cases to handle, When I have been able to get through to someone they have been very helpful, but it takes sooooooo long to actually get a reply!

I think MYA wouldn’t win any awards for there customer service, Just hoping the Boobs will be good lol.

If I knew how to go direct with the surgeon I would of….

Haha I no what you mean hun, but they are the ones who arrange us! If it was me I would run it a lot different but then hey its not my company and others semm happy just ashame some of us feel let down by or PC! It just would of been nice be reasured! Ahh tell me about the post op, she told me like I can just pop down no I actually live an hour away worst thing had wait sooo long 4 my consultation with Dr singh (fine I no his busy) but whilst I’m waiting book me in pre op? Just tad unorganised x

I was at Holborn clinic girls,my PC is Hannah Gibson,she has been absolutely brilliant,I really cant fault her,she has bent over backwards for me,I am so surprised you feel that you have experienced communication problems with her,she may be off sick,as I can imagine that would be the only time she would not contact you.Based on my own experience.Sorry you feel disappointed.xxx

Is a shame, glad yours has been good! I mean I can’t say its been poor communication but to not hear from her the day before op, the day of op the day after op! I had to contact her and yes she did say she would call me the next day but as of yet I have heard nothing! X

And I had text her even saying haven’t heard from you hope everythings ok???? I was asking her a question about my funny sounding boob lol she did say ring nurse so I did but you would think even more she would contact but hey like I said I’d go private with him again! X

Once they have your money they’re not bothered!

I have to say up until op I did hear from her she even emailed me before I heard from nurse to let me no admission time and stuff so its not awful at all and I’m not slating her its just constructive Criticism! A little text before the op (and I did speak to her a few days before and she said I will text you before) so I don’t know maybe something happened in personal life…she is great dnt get me wrong not saying that just somethings like if your coming down see surgeon and he’s late 2 hours maybe try see if you can get me in pre op save me hour + journey again!? X

I didnt get my admission time til 1 day before my op and I had to phone them! Then I found out my PC had left the company but didnt fancy teling anyone!

grrr!! However my Laser lipo went great the surgeon and the nurses were lovely, and afterwards. I have my post op booked for Saturday, still alot of swelling but hopefully will go down

I hope you get this sorted soon hunni. As it just isnt on!

I am sure they’re all very busy and doing thier best and when you do hear from them it’s great and they’re very helpful Just would be nicer and save allot of panic if you could contact them and they replied x

Is it possible that some of these PCs may have had to take time off and in an emergency, and not been able to let everyone know,I only mention this because I have had such a fab experience,and when you consider the amount of people that must be going through MYA for all the different procedures,people who don’t even use the forum too,they have a lot of people to deal with. I have seen negative and positive posts on the forum over the last 7 months and I have to say,I do feel sorry for the people that that feel let down,but do not let a missed call put you off,the surgeons hospitals and MYA after care are a big part of your journey,the negative posts always seem to stand out the most because we worry,we worry when we see a negative post are we making the right choice,have we made the right choice,I have researched and used several companies,and to be honest this is the only company that has offered this service,human beings do make errors we are not machines,and sometime things go wrong. There have been many positive posts where members can not praise their PCs enough,we are all entitled to our individual opinions that’s what the forum is for,and I feel lucky to have had a very positive experience,but I think we have to take in to account the vast amount of people that MYA PCs will be dealing with on a daily basis,and hope they all stay fit and healthy so they can contact us to reassure us,everything will be ok.I think the forum is a good tool in terms of feedback for MYA seeing these posts will help them with their continuous improvement to customer services and pre and post op care,and Im sure every ones individual opinion is valued.I am sure Mya mod will pick up on this.xxx

Oh I completely agree with everything you have just said! It was just a simple post no harm just like rest on here! I think mya offer a great service had 1 little hiccup before anything and it was delt with amazingly!

I’m not faulting the company in other sence I ment by if your due back see surgeon 4 2nd time and confirming dates whilst your sat waiting two hours to see him try arrange pre op at same time just little things like that but I am very happy with everything n healing well! X

So pleased to hear that you are healing well,that’s the main thing honey,I think to be honest the journey in itself is an emotional roller coaster,so when things dont always go according to plan,anyyone in any situation gets a little stressed its human nature.Glad your ok honey.xxx

I feel bad just spoken to PC and explained everything ignore whole post lol! I have to say its alined everything and all ok lol! I am not moaning in anyway about mya was a few gripes but I have to say yes after care etc all ok now bloody scared due go back Monday for check up and I don’t know weather my stitchs are dissovable ones or not ahhhhh what where you girls? X I’ve had re Aug 700cc from 260cc overs?x

I think it depends on the surgeon honey,some use dis solvable some dont,you’ll have to ring your PC back and ask her,lol.xxx

I have the exact opposite experience with my PC she is superb, always rings back answers calls ect. X

Ahh I’m praying I can’t deal with thought of it let alone them taking them out ewwww! What size did u have? If I run my hand over that area does feel raised ahh I’m scared this is the only part I’ve felt nervous lol x
