Hey girls just wanting abit of advice regarding payment for my ba. I’m just wondering what the majority of people prefer/have done, finance or paid it all upfront? I know this will vary depending on everyone’s circumstances. I’m just torn between saving the £ and doing the rest on finance so I’m able to have mine sooner or save the full amount. I know it will be great so pay it upfront and know that I have no payments to worry about but then it’s waiting quite abit longer. In a dilemma really 🙁 I think seeing everyone get there surgery just makes me even more inpatient haha.
I’m starting a job soon as I’m nearly qualified as a nurse so I will be on quite a good income for being 22 and still living at home so wanting to do it now whilst I have no other commitments!
Thanks girls xxx
Hiya Hun I went to the bank and managed to get a credit card with 0% interest for 3 years. Credit cards have much lower interest rates than company finance options usually xx
@jessy6067 Hi Jessica, I’ve paid £2,5oo deposit and the rest on 0% credit for 10 months. It was very quick to arrange, I had to fill in a form online and got an instant approval. Good luck. Xx
Sophie – when do they take the first payment? I had my op Friday and the first payment is ready to go out my account I just don’t know when they are going to take it lol xx
Hello, I got the post office credit card I was able to pay the whole amount off so don’t have to wait until I’ve saved (because I’m very impatient too haha!) I’m paying it off in big chunks whenever I want, it’s really small interest, I think It’s really good and would defiantly recommend it xx
No just means after 3 years I’ll
Have to pay interest on whatever is remaining on the card. Hopefully have it all paid off though. I can pay however much I want off every month. Xxx
Thanks for your help girls. @beckytierney how did you apply for that card, did you have to go in the post office or is that online? With that card do you decide what payments you make or is there a minimum per month? xx
I’ve done the pay £2500 upfront and then 10mths interest free finance x
