PC – not even called!

Feel really let down that my pc hadn’t even called me or text to see if I’m ok after my op.

Anyone else in this boat and I’m just feeling fragile or are they supposed to have called?! X

Hey Hun. My PC hasnt called either. I had my op Wednesday n I think she was on holiday til yesterday but a nurse called to check on me yesterday. Xxx

I think it may be the same reason – on hol or something as it seems that others on here have had lots of contact x

Well to be honest without discrediting your PC,something should have been put in place as a back up to make sure you got that call,I know they must be very busy,im sure you will get a call very soon hun.xxx

the nurse rang me yesterday to check (had my op same day as you (22nd)), my pc has been away on hols until 24th. Surprised no one has called, maybe they just haven’t got round to you yet.

Who is your PC, mine is Alison, but she has been fab before, but i know she has been away since before i had my op, but one of the nurses rang me the day before my op as well to check if i had any questions

Mine never called either hun, don’t worry too much. You’re aftercare is pretty much down to the nurse now and between you and your surgeon xxx

My pc didn’t call either but I did get a call from the hospital and my nurse the day after.

Not too bothered tbh I had all u lovely ladies to ask me how I was lol x x

they always seem to be on Holiday!!! X

mine did not call either- she only phoned once to take credit card details lol x x

I had my ba on the 22nd and i haven’t heard anything from, pc or nurse. Really disappointed thought they would of called.

My pc also said she was going to ring me the day before my op but never did! x x

Well they rang me on the 22nd to say how I was realign to rest. My op was the next day havnt had it yet then they rang me on Friday asking in it was Gemma I was in the mood to explain. Then final jan rang and left a message and even got my name right. Sorry ladies if I got any of your calls. Xxx
