Period and surgery

Was wondering if anyone here was on their period during surgery?
I have my op soon and I know I am suppose to be starting a couple days before!!
Really annoying as during post-op i feel it is going to be really gross as I cant take proper showers 🙁

I was on for my first op, I wore a tampon as normal, and had shallow baths daily. Most girls have had to wear a pad though, I wasn’t advised that xx

I will be on my period too… The thought of it makes me feel sick.
Also I have seen some people saying they have had to come off the pill, is that for everyone or just some? X

I’m on now so back pain worse :(lol yeah everyone has to come off … And any multi vitamins apparently : s oh and fact I’m on now means my bloating is soooo bad I actually look how I did 5months pregnant haha oh well boobies 😀

Yeah you have to come off the pill 2 weeks before your op and can start again two weeks after but check with your nurse I also had to come off my multi vitimans aswell 2 weeks before my op and your not allowed asprin either Hun but it will be worth it when you’ve got your new boobies xxx
