Period on Surgery day?? :'(

Hey girls!

Started my period today….wrong timing seeing as my surgery is on Sunday. Does anyone know if this will effect my surgery?? Do they give you special underwear ect??

It shouldn’t make a difference really. You get paper knickers but it shouldn’t affect anything. Ooh congrats for your surgery on sunday! Bet you can’t wait xxx

it doesnt make any difference they just ask you to keep your knickers on under the paper knickers…..I came on the morning of my surgery ha!xxxx

I had my surgery yesterday afternoon and my period came yesterday morning 🙁 you can leve your own knickers on underneath the paper one aslong as they are not nylon they have to be 100% cotton but even a pad in the paper ones are not too bad , good luck for Sunday x x

And yup Kirsty I have my surgery there on Sunday 🙂

I came in like day before surgery but took my pill so I came off next day luckily, I was told was fine to still be taking it by my PC ☺️Xx

@laurengracexxx hi, nurse told me I have to stop taking pills like straight away after visit and that was 2weeks before operation :/ I stop 8 days before because I finished my month and now no idea when I can go back 🙁 everybody saying different things 🙁

I know I’ve seen people on here was told not to take it but nobody nurse and my pc said its fine and I’m 8weeks po now ? didn’t do me no harm xx

I was due on the day if surgery luckily the stress made me late…… I kept my own pants on for surgery though they didn’t give me paper pants ? xx

I had my
Period and I just wore a tampon and theybsaid it wouldn’t make a difference xx
