period!!!!

Hi girls,

im having my ba on mon and have just come on my period :cry:dam!!!

anyone that has had theres do you know if a pad is necessary or would a tampax be fine????

horrible question i know and apologise :shamed:but it has to be asked cause i do not do pads lol

i thinki read about this before somewhere, pretty sure tampons are fine hun, shouldnt be any problems xx

hi girls i was on when i had my op, typical eh, great timing.. you have to wear a pad, i had to remove the tampon, not sure why but its what the nurse said..x

ahhh god the dreaded pad!!!! i hate the horrid things!!!

i think the only thing im worried of is waking up to big boobs (the twins)lol you know what i mean lol

Just to let you know, I was also on when I had my op last week, I asked Mr Adamo on the day about whether it was okay to keep my tampon in?? He was fine with it, no problems! To be honest I felt much better knowing I could keep my tampon in, as I knew I wouldn’t be leaking on the operating table!! haha, but as soone as I could get out of bed and go to the toilet I put a pad on instead! Totally nothing to worry about though hun!

Yeh they ask you b4 you go in if you are on your period and give you a pad! but a pad with paper knickers?? yuk????? so glad my period wasnt due, but you could ask to keep the tampax in, as you are only laid for a couple of hours asleep? cant see what the prob is ? XX

oh i’m def gonna want to keep a tampon in now, especially after your comment janeyh!! paper towel and pad!! yuk!!! hahaha oh dear….xxx

i asked the nurse about the tampon and she said to wear cotton knickers under the paper knickers with a pad on, weird i know!!!
