Periods…

Have any of you post op girls had light spotting instead of a real period for your first one after your op?

I was a week late but had been having period pains for the past few weeks, then yesterday and today I have had really light spotting, not even worth using a tampon for – thats how little there is. Its been more like the bloody discharge you get on the last day of your period… Anyone else had this?

I wanna start taking my pill again but dont wanna take it and mess up my cycle in case this isnt really my period! My gp said to take it again on the first day i start bleeding so i’ll be covered after 7 days but at this rate i feel like im never gonna get back on my pill! x

I’m exactly like you Hunn, i was a week late but all week I kept getting period pains and now that I’m on it’s very light. I think it’s caused by the meds x

I was shitting myself cos me and my bloke were at it and he was pulling out! Condoms make me get water infections and i couldnt be a nun! LoL

So glad that you’re the same as me khanni x I may just start taking my pill tonight then and take a preg test in a fortnight just to be sure there’s no surprises in store x

I had my op 2 cycles ago and am back on the pill but i’m still spotting all the way through, very annoying.

Off to docs on Monday to see if it’s the pill or the op that’s causing it1
