I’m so relieved! I’ve been scared to move the whol week lol, but now I’ve seen my incisions I feel even happier than before yer I can shower but was really nervous…had the biggest smile on my face reaching to wash my armpit AND…there were boobs in the way hehe. Are you allowed to shower? When can u take the thin strips off? I’ve got them too and can take them off myself on Monday. Are you happy? How you feeling? Xx

U should shower 3 days after ur week check wen u take the steri strips off xx

Oh my! The nurse never said anything about showering or taking strips off! What was I thinking of not asking – I was just too excited to see those big plasters off! Lol. Can’t wait to have a shower mmmmm I will call my PC tomorrow xxx. Thanks ladies xx

I think it might be coz I don’t have anymore appointments, flying back home to Portugal on Thursday. Were your incisions completely closed? Mine didn’t even have scabs on, were just like scars, so I dunno if that’s why I can shower…hmmm x

Oh I see, maybe that is why. Oh lucky you going to where the sun shines!!! Yes mine didn’t have scabs, maybe keep showers quite Luke warm. I think I will keep on my shallow baths for a couple more days. xx

yer I was in and out in a second! will probs wait until monday to shower again and I’m sure it will do no harm x

Yeah i was all closed up but there were a couple if tiny scabs left. Maybe thats t she told me to wait for shower. She also said to keep my breast band on for a week and half but i just did a week as thats what mr russo sid to do. I havent even got a shower so i just part fill the bath and then use a shower adapter on the taps to wash myself down xx

My nurse today was about to throw my breast band in the bin! I told her I wanted to keep it as a souvenir…she looked at me like I was crazy lol x

hehe, i’ve still got mine too! it’s going straight in the wash lol x

Lol. Ive kept mine too, and hospital tags and stockings!!! Hehe xx
