Ok, now I’m worried after seeing Tiara’s pics. I’m booked in for BA 15 March, see my surgeon for first time this Wednesday. I’ve been quoted a price for BA and there was no mention of uplift. But looking at your pics Tiara, I have practically the same boobs as you had pre-op. So now I’m worried I’m going to get told I need an uplift too. Did they say you had to Tiara? And how much did your op cost overall? x

michelle79- your boobs look great! Its amazing how much they change over such a short period of time! They really do look fab. Did it hurt getting your staples out? I’m looking forward to seeing mine with the dressings off!

I only needed a small uplift lisam. Basically, Mr Traynor said that if I wanted, I could leave the uplift, but that with the weight of the implant, further sagging would occur and I would eventually end up needing an uplift anyway. So I figured, may as well get it all done in the one go! I paid £5400 in total for mine. Just wait and see what they say hun, you might not need an uplift, photos can be deceiving! Let me know how you get on!

Lisam, ah don’t worry honey it’s entirely up to you if you want to have an uplift, (if it’s mentioned in your consultation). Wait until you have your consultation, the surgeon will explain why, if he thinks it’s necessary for you to have uplift and you will then be able to make an informed choice xxx

Thanks Tiara! I can’t help but worry incase the cost goes up further. But will do whatever it takes now as got my heart set on them. Your new boobs look amazing by the way! Bet you’re chuffed to bits. x

Ah thanks tiara, I’ve still a long way to go yet with the healing and settling, but they’re changing every day. Breasts are a lot more symetrical now than they were in the beginning. It didn’t really hurt having staples out as my breasts were still numb underneath, if anything I just felt a gentle pinch, nothing major. I’m going back to see nurse on Tuesday to see how I’m progressing. I’m still a bit sore and sensitive. How you feeling honey? xxx

I’m really not feeling too bad. Just stiff and my left breast is very tender, especially at the side, under my arm. The swelling is definitely going down and I seem to have lost sensation in my right nipple! I don’t feel that I need the pain killers as frequently now. So have you had to see your nurse quite often then? I guess thats normal with a more complex procedure?

I cant believe the size of yours from only a 260cc – they are going to look fab!! The scars are a bit scary at first but im use to them now and just trying to get rid of them ASAP with bio oil!!! xxxx

Tiara, Yes I had a complex procedure to correct tuberous and asymetrical breasts, my nipples were abnormally large too so I had reduction on them too. I had 260cc in my right and 300cc in my left. They’re starting to look symetrical now, but right breast has been a bit slower to drop and heal, I still have some slight tenderness and swelling underneath both breasts and my right nipple is still numb too, I also have what nurses call ‘puckering’ from the staples in my right breast and nurses assures me this will go in time as my skin stretches to accomodate implants and breasts become settled. I’ve had a lot of post-op blues because of it but getting better. I was 3 weeks post op on thurs and had 2 appointments so far, nurse says I’m healing really well, I’m going back to see her tues just for reassurance really and to check all is okay. xxx

Hi Michelle, not sure if its the same from stitches but I had puckerin in on my left scar – it evened out about 6 week post op so fingers crossed yours will too x

Thanks Em, I only had a vertical scar going down my right breast as surgeon removed excess skin as it was the larger breast, I’ve just got one dent underneath nipple (nurse calls it puckering) which I’ve been worrying about, but nurse assures me it was from a tight staple which will go once breasts settle, I’ve just got to rest and wait xxx

Ye, sounds same with the skin kinda over lapping. Sure it’ll be fine xx

I am really pleased with them katy, thanks. I can’t wait til they settle too. I also can’t wait to have a shower, wash my hair, lie on my back and so on!!! All worth it though xxx

hi michelle, can i take peek pls hun, my BA is booked end of march and dunno if ill still go with original 260cc or 300cc which was also suggested by Dr T. I only wana look full C from my current 34A. im 5’5 size 8, and just aiming for proportion. Dont wana look like theyre too heavy for my built. xx

Hi poppy, of course you can, I’ll accept now honey, bear in mind though I’m only 3 weeks post op and the breast where I had 260cc isn’t settled yet (right), My left breast is taking lovely shape though (300cc) and I love the shape it’s taking so far, even though I’m still swollen underneath both breasts. I’ll be taking more pics weekly though so you’ll be able to see how I’ve progessed. xxx

Wow Michelle, they look fab! theyre full, but not huuuge i think they look natural even on your 3rd day post op, just perky and full. And, you’re right i just joined in and im still finding my way around this site and was literally following ur instructions. Ill check out your album regulary and see the progress, thanks for adding me up! I shall update you with mine too. xxx
