pictures added of first BA gone wrong and revision surgery

Hey friends,

I have had a lot of messages regarding my first BA and revision surgery..

I have uploaded some pics to show my friends what my boobs looked like when i noticed they had gone wrong.. although my surgeon sent me away 3 times, i was persistant with mya and had 5 independant surgeons reports stating one had bottomed (fallen out of pocket)and not a very good job – judge for yourselves…

I asked for a second opinion from a mya surgeon who confirmed the same and left side was bigger and fallen out of pocket, I was told i couldnt have my corrective surgery with the other mya surgeon although he said he would do it for me as it had to be the original surgeon. But told them he didnt think anything was wrong so wouldnt do it. They said they will tell my surgeon about the other surgeons stating they needed correcting and he will sort it.. but i really didnt want him to re- operate on me as i had now lost all confidence in him, So 1 year of fighting my corner i finally managed to get a different surgeon to correct my breasts and had to pay half price for the surgery as mya stated they would only pay for my left side to be lifted and didnt think there was a problem with size difference. This was there last and final offer ( in there words)

Take a look at pics i have now got 410cc in my left side and 460cc in my right and still my right is bigger so i think that speaks for its self.. anyway its all sorted now and i hope that was the last one i need as revision surgery hurt more than the BA its self xxx

Sounds like you’ve been through a lot, glad you’ve got it sorted in the end though. Thanks for telling your story it must be an awful thing to go through but I know complications do occur for some people. Do you mind me adding you? Us pre-op girls get to see lots of pics of different sizes etc on here but not many revision surgerys xx

sounds Like you’ve had a bad time:-( me 2 have same sort of probs, what Hos did you have on 1st ba? Same situation my 2nd ba was revision and Surgeon kept turning me away when and dismissing the problems, now I’m seeking to MYA to make my boobs beautiful the way they should be, good luck chick ) x

good for you fighting your corner, glad you sorted now. Hopefully 2012 will be plain sailing for you. you must have the most friend requests as not many bad surgeries shown, hopefully because there aren’t many. thanks for sharing so us pre ops can be forewarned. hope you don’t me adding you. happy new year and may good fortune smile on you.x

Thanks for the add, just had a look at your pics and can definitely see the problem, not good how you got sent away 3 times! They look great now though, I can’t really tell there’s a size difference still they look really good now.

What caused the problem with the first BA? Did he make the pocket too big or something so it didn’t sit as high as the right one? xx

You’re looking fab after your re-do. I can now only see the small size difference when looking closely but remember that it’s normal to have a small difference btween both boobs anyway. Trouble with having an op is it makes us examine every little thing in so much more detail!

Still can’t believe that your first surgeon turned you away 3 times for something which looks so obvious! I don’t think anyone of us expects our surgeon to be perfect, but we’d like to believe that our surgeon would do their best to make things right if anything turned out wrong.

Is it ok if i add you hun? I have sent you an email as I think im in the same boat you were. My boobs are a different size and shape. Even the nurse said at my 6 week check it looks like i needed a bigger implant in my left, and I had 70cc bigger in that one as it was! Shouldn’t have taken you such a fight to get sorted but at least you are now xx
