Hi 🙂 I have 16 piercings. 1 being a stretcher in my ear, 1 being my nipple and 3 being micro dermals. I took my nipple piercing out a couple of weeks before hand ready to close up just for extra comfort whilst i’m healing, and i’m glad I did because they are really swollen at the moment. I was able to take the balls off my mirco dermals and just get them taped over. I took as many as I could out as possible but the ones I couldn’t take out where just covered in tape during the op as well as my stretcher. My surgeon and nurses didn’t mind them being in, they just told me they couldn’t be responsible if they got caught during the operation and also made me aware of the risks of the metal burning my skin.
