piercings?

Ok so next weds is my op, and obvs they say you cant have piercings in. thats fine as ive had my piercings for ages, the only one im concerned about is my tongue piercing. ofc i cant leave it in cuz of the tube down my throat etc, dont think the doc will be happy about it! ive had my tongue pierced for 3 years, but im paranoid it will close up during the 2 hour op.

do i buy a retainer or will that cause the same issue?

has anyone had this sort of problem with piercings?

do you think my tongue will heal up or would it take much longer?

any advice appreciated!

If you’ve had it done 3 years you’ll be fine! Your only in there like an hour/hour half and can put it bac in just after that’s what I did xx

aw thanks kezz :)apprently itll take about 2-2.5 hours for my op, im having a septo rhinoplasty, but just feel a bit paranoid cuz i havent taken it out for that long before… does it already feel like its started to close up when u put it back in or did it just go in no probs?
