pill or implant

Hi, just wondered if anyone has had the pill implant. i am due to go back on the pill after my BA, but am debating having the pill implant instead?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

i have the implant… i have my 2nd one in and have been using it for 4 years now. i have a few problems with my period’s but i believe that may run in the family. i am usless at taking the pill, it also makes me very ‘down’, i tried the injection and put on alot of weight… iv considered the coil, but not comfortable with messing around in there, if you know what i mean!!!

iv been stress free for 4 years! i love it xxxx

Heya, I had the implant and thought it was really good. At first I had a few problems with periods but the same as any contraception I’ve tried and they levelled out after a while. I would defo recommend it but don’t forget you’ll have two little scars on your arm after! I got mine done when I was 15 and didn’t even think about the fact I’d be scarred lol! xx

Lol don’t worry, the nurse I had to get it out was well grumpy so that’s probably something to do with it! x
