Hi
Can someone please help…I have been thinking about having a BA for years but I keep thinking, ‘what if it goes wrong’. I am unhappy at the moment and have very little confidence, and I know that having a successful BA will make me a much happier person. I have tried to find statistics about the surgery but haven’t had much luck. Can anyone give me advice on where to find that type of info or how they overcame that thought?
Hey Emsie
Ah mate, if you’re not happy, just do it. I had mine nearly 3 weeks ago and it’s the best thing I’ve done. There’s always risks with everything however, it’s a risk walking out your front door really!! These surgeons are the best in their field; they’ve done thousands of BA. I had Dr. Traynor and he was fantastic.I absolutley lurrrrrv my new twins!! If you’r not happy with something…..fix it!!
The whole process of BA is fantastic; the surgery is nothing to worry about and there’s no real pain afterwards just a bit uncomfortable. Go for it mate;join the boobie gang!!! wooohooooo!!! xx
ho claire just to say i think u are a very positive in put on this forum and seem like a lovely positive girl u helped me decide on my size and i am glad i did not go smaller as i was scared initially , glad u are loving your new babies…xx

Thanks for your comments Claire, its so true.
Are the scars really noticable?
No worries.
You can’t even see them. They’re healing really well. You’ve got to look underneath to see them. They will fade away eventually
Good good.
Hope you don’t mind me asking but what size were you before and what are you now?
Where did you have it done?
I was 36c before and I’m now wearing 36f atm. I know it sounds massive but they’re really not..they’re just the right size
I went to Manchester Lifestyle hospital. Where do you live then? xx
Thank you, yeah sizes are different for everyone.
I live in South Devon so have been in contact with Bristol. My partner has relatives in Liverpool so thought about going there if I need to. It would be nice to compare stats between the different clinics.
Good luck..keep us posted with what you decide
xx

Hi Hannah
I had 460’s, that was the biggest size of the 3. I said I didn’t want them huge..I wanted them in proportion with my body and I’m soooo pleased I went for 460’s.
Well there’s not much between the 2 so I would def go for 380 mate. Eeeeh bet your soooo exited! When you booked for? xx
Yeah im thinking 380

Hi claire, was just wondering if i can have a look at your boob diary, that you’ve mentioned on here, as i’m really interested in your experience. Am still in the initial research stage really, but im serious about getting them done, but have all the usual concerns. Thanks x
Emsie
I would really advise you look into why you are unhappy in the first place. There are many alternatives to surgery and I really do think these methods to increasing your confidence and self worth are better in the first instance.
If we really think about it, the principle of breast surgery, it is quite sad that we feel the need to change ourselves to be accepted! Saying this, I am going against my own advice, but this is after 10 years of counselling, research and so on, and I feel the reasons I am having surgery now are different from before. It is not out of desperation to be accepted or disgust in my body, it is a very personal and individual reason.
Sorry if this sounds like a lecture. I don’t know your age but I would say wait a bit, have a deep think, if you still want it so badly then do it but for the right reasons.
Good luck!
x
Hey clare
yeah no problem, let me know what you’re email address is and I’ll send it over
xx
Hi Niki
Thank you for your comments…the reason I am unhappy is because of the shape of my boobs, I can’t wear clothes that I like and have a real issue with my partner seeing them because of their shape eventhough he tells me I’m fine. Basically my nipples are bigger than the rest of my breast, The crease of my breast is under my nipple on one side not not in the normal place…don’t know what else to try. Thought about the Brava bra but I dont feel there has been enough research into yet.
hi claire, its foxydiva16@hotmail.com thanks xx
