Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Girls,

I’m 8 days post op and went to have my dressings removed today, i’d noticed a bit of weeping on my right side and thought it was my wound. Turns out i had a blister under the dressing which had popped and was leaking!! Ugh!! Nurse says it could be a reaction to the dressings, just wondered if anyone else has had anything similar??

My right boobie which is the same one as the blister is also alot more painful than the left. It hurts to touch across the top of my cleavage and is a little more swollen than the other one, again nurse says not to worry but i cant help it!!!!! it seems more painful now 8 days on than it did before? Any advice would be much appreciated.

sorry i cant help i have not had my ba yet but if your really worried ring the helpline, or get them to make you another app with nurse! try wording your post “BLISTER ON MY BOOB” See if you get any other responses x

Hi jomac, I had my dressings changed on day 7 and I, too, found that my boobs hurt more after that than they had previously. The nurse said it is just because things get disturbed when they take the original dressings off. I am on day 12 now and they are starting to feel a bit better. My left boob is still very swollen-much more than my right. Its not unusual for this to happen hun. As carmel says though, get in touch with a nurse if you have any concerns at all. Thats what they’re there for and thats what you’ve paid for! xxx

jomac, im 5days post op and my left is much more swollen and harder than my right side also. I spoke 2 my suregeon 2night and he assured me that its fine as your breasts heal at different rates xxx

i had slight blistering i thin its from the strapping being so tight, im now 4 weeks post op and everything fine, i also started to get more pain about a week n alf after and was so worried but everythings fine so try not t worry x
