So I 3wks po tomorrow, how do you know if you have had unders or overs. I was told I was having unders but I think I have overs. When I asked the nurse she said it was unclear from the notes from when I was in having it done. I can’t wait until 6-12 weeks to ask me traynor. I will feel really disappointed if they are overs. Can anyone help???? X

Before I went in for my op on Friday
My surgeon asked me which I
Wanted and I had to sign a form
To say I agreed with it.
I have been told unders r more painful
    And overs not as much.
I had dual plane which is half and half
I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t get
In and out of bed because he went half
    Under my muscle.
    But everyone’s different with pain.
    Hope this helps

I signed a consent form before I went down and when he drew on my he wrote 375 SM which is sub muscular isn’t it which is under. I wasn’t in that much pain after more uncomfortable which makes me think there over. Is there anything that can be done if they have been done over as it’s not what I agreed, and would feel better if they were under. I may be wrong, I would just like to know now. Xx

SM means sub muscular. So I’d expect that’s what it is. You can tell when they are softer, if you put your hands on your waist and flex the pecs (when they don’t hurt obviously), then you can see the implants moving apart slightly. It means they are under. Or you can wait and ask the surgeon 🙂
