I have developed a rash under my incisions approx 2ins band that goes from under my boobs and around,

level to my arm pits. I’ve been quite itchy for the last 24 hr s. I originally put it down to healing but now I’m wondering if it’s wearing a bra constantly. I’ve tried changing from my macom to a sports bra to see of that helps. I’m now feeling really sensitive so can’t wear just a top with no bra.

Has anyone else had any experience of this? Any help suggestions gratefully received as I am feeling really uncomfortable :(

    Thank you

Ps I have washed the bra in non bio liquid and had my first shower this morning but used nothing perfumed on that area……please help?!

Do you think it would be ok to leave my bra off over night tonight to see of that helps? I’m only 12 days post op though?

Faye you poor thing I hate being uncomfortable!

Even though I haven’t done mine yet I would mist certainly leave it off to ease the rash as it won’t get any better otherwise xx

Thanks hun. I’ve got a support vest I think I may try wearing that tonight instead. At least then it will give a bit of support. I’ve also had some of the kids piriton which has helped. It’s been driving me nuts :(

    Xx

Sorry I haven’t yet had my op so hope you don’t think I’m imposing but Dr Adamu who I’m booked with suggests wearing nothing post op from day 1, literally just some small plasters covering the scars so I would assume from that together with your rash you will be better off wearing nothing xx

I agree missym, I’m having adamo in nov and a few nights won’t hurt them at all xx

Even if you done a few hours a day topless , to let the air heal them xx

Sounds easier to have another baby lol !

Let us know if it gets better faye x

Thanks for all the help. I just wore a vest top which felt loads better last night in bed. Back to work today so have to wear my bra all day. It’s already rubbing…..going to be a long day :(

Doesn’t help that I can’t put anything on it.

Thanks again and good luck to all you girls who have yet to get it done, despite me feeling a tad sorry for myself it is still worth it :) xx
