Omg I am so worried, is this normal?

Op Thursday – felt great all day and night. No pain at all. When I looked down they were so tiny wondered whether I’d had them done!

Yesterday – in agony. Very swollen and can feel implants sitting so high up, feel like they’re gonna burst out of my skin.

Today – omg in agony! Had to sleep propped up on the sofa, not had much sleep. Implants feel even higher today and solid. Pain all around that area.

Starting to wonder what the **** I’ve done, so upset right now!

Please tell me this is normal (only if it is – please be honest with me) xxx

Thanks Tina I was hoping you would answer. I’m not a wimp but like you say think I had such a good day Thursday it’s a shock. Is it normal that the implants feel so high? I should ring the nurse. Thanks Tina, as usual you’re here to offer help xxxxxx

Oh Tracy sorry to hear this hun it does sound similar to what Ive bn feeling but I would defo ring the nurse for reasurance Hun especially if u get a temperature and constant pain. Let me know how u get on gun hope ur ok xxx

Just be careful, we can give advise based on own personal experiences but we are not nurses. If you are in pain and are worried your first port of call should ALWAYS be the nurse. I spoke to one of the surgeons about this and he said that the forum is no place for seeking advise if you are in pain and that most people on here have been through a cosmetic procedure once and every body reacts differently. Get well soon hun. xxx

It’s normal to be in lots of pain at your stage. Manage the pain with pain killiers codeine etc. You can take the maximum allowance and take them before you feel it’s unbearable instead of waiting for your body to tell you. Watch for dyclofenac as it could interfere with your bowls and bloating. Drink lots and have gentle walks around the house to keep your circulation. we all understand!!! We are here for you. If you have a temperature or are anxious call your nurse. Just don’t suffer alone. It will all settle in time. I promise xxxxxxx

I’m sure it’s everything will be fine hun but I would just call the nurse for reassurance. I know it’s scary because no mater how much you read up on it you still don’t really know what to expect. You could take a good few a weeks to feel back to your old self…….or should I say I new improved version 😉

Keep us posted hun sending you a big hug xx

The nurse called me just for a routine chat. I told her how I was feeling and she said this sounds normal. So I feel a bit better knowing this and think I just need to be patient xx

Tracy you might be like me. I never expected any pain as all the girls seemed to have a smooth time. I didn’t prepare myself for the sickness after anaesthesia- the uncomfortable sleepless nights and the pain and the stupid shallow bathing or v pillows or anything. I got a bit of a shock to be honest. Maybe that’s what’s happened to u too? Xx

Yes exactly Anchovie. The worst shock for me is that my implants seem so high, above my breast almost! Like they’re gonna pop out, eeeeekkk! But nurse has assured me this is normal! Gosh, duno what normal is anymore xx

Hi tracy sorry to hear you’re feeling a bit rubbish. Did your surgeon tell you to wear a bra? Mr T has told me I’ll need to wear one 24/7 for the first 6 weeks so like the other girls said maybe give that a whirl. The compression might keep the swelling down a bit? I hope your nurse can put your mind at rest and I’m sure if they were worried they’d ask to see you x x x

Yeah got my bra on Hun, think it’s maybe a bit big as I got a cup size and band size bigger than what I asked for. So I’ve got a 36dd but think I need a 34d, gonna send my boyfriend out for me. Thanks for the advice xx

    Menu

I wondered about that too because I was told the same and always thought that if you got a bigger cup size then the back size either got a bit smaller or stayed the same. E.g. I’ve seen girls go from a 34A to a 32D. I didn’t make sense to me so maybe I’ll buy one with the same back size! 💡 x
