Hi I have ad :ded these photos can you let me know what you think… do i need an uplift or could i get away with a large implant? your advice would be much appreciated xx feel free to add me..

hey hun ill have a look, just to let u know some ladies have just gone for a large implant and wished theyd had an uplift to as they felt there boobs were just bigger but still saggier ( not to cause offence cnt think of a nice word lol) and wished theyed had am uplift when they had the chance, i think its if u measure more than 23cm from ur collar bone to nipple ull need a uplift.. something like that lol xx

kassie has it spot on, if you need an uplift have an up lift dont risk having a big implant and ending up with bigger saggiar versions of what you already have (thats if you do need an uplift lol ) xx

I wud honesly advise LISTEN TO YOUR SURGEON… they know wot they are doing..xx

mine is 22cm one side 23 the other the surgeon said i was border line for a lift but he felt i could get a good result with 400/410 overs…. this is what i was hoping to go for i really wanted to avoid the lift…..

To determine if you could benefit from a breast lift we take a measurement during consultation to see how much your breasts sag. We measure from the center of the nipple to the sternal notch to gauge how far the nipple has fallen. The standard young breast has been determined to have a measurement of about 8″ (or 21 cm) from nipple to sternal notch.

You can measure this on yourself. If you find that the distance is greater than 8 inches, try moving the nipple up to this level with your opposite hand to give yourself a very rough idea of the final position following a breast lift procedure. In reality, many other factors are considered and the final result may also differ due to stretching of the skin.#

Its hard to c from the one side pic charlie, but I dont think yr boobs r saggy enough for an up lift!!! Xxx

Just looked at your pic. Will try and upload my before pics in the next few days. Yours look fuller than mine did but my measurements were the same as yours, 22cm and 23cm, after thinking long and hard I had my uplift yesterday, Mario said if he put a large implant in with no lift then I would just have bigger saggier boobs. Thought is would be best to get it all done at once rather than have a BA then be unhappy with the results in a few months time xx

charlie look up xxjoxx on here shes 8 months po of having a lift and her scars are fab, they not as scary as you think xx

Thanks girls, i know it may sound shallow but it is the scars that are putting me off having an uplift is there anyon on here who just got the implants and had the same measurements? nicdev i’d love to see your photos and thanks nikki and kelly xx

The only person who can tell you this for sure is your surgeon. And then u might have a situation like myself where one surgeon has suggested a large implant will work but the other surgeon says an uplift is what you need!

There are always loads of debates on here about uplift v mplant only. Everybody is very strongly opinionated on the 2 options. So I think u have to be completely straight with yourself. Listen to what your surgeon suggests first and foremost. They are the masters! Then if u have the option, u have to decide on whether u go for an implant only and more than likely have a re-op uplift in years to come (added weight in not so perky boob with any excess skin CANNOT defy gravity and WILL droop over time). Or you have the uplift now and deal with the scars. Or, as my surgeon put it… You have a 3rd option… Learn to love what you’ve got!!!!

It doesn’t would shallow at all, I’ve been so worried about the scars and still am to be honest. Chatting with the girls on here and seeing their pics has been a huge help for me. Just praying mine will look as good . Will post on the forum when I’ve put my pics up Xx

Hey Charlie you look a lot similar to me maybe slightly bigger, what is your current size and Height etc? you dont look like you need an uplift as well though hun as the nipple is still pointing forward and not droopy

Hi Charlie just looked at your pictures they are not that different from where I started .. Have a look at my pics I was 32b/c before and it was never mentioned to me about an uplift I had 525 and have got an amazing result I’m really happy ..u should see what the surgon thinks is best after all they see the experts maybe see a couple get 2nd opinion .. There is a girl on here julieanne she has just had a large implant a couple of days ago maybe speak with her x

hun mine look slighty like yours but mine were less full at the top….i thought i mat need an uplift and was ready for that as the surgeon always kows best. but when i was dr singh he said there was no way i needed one and needed them filled as i had lost the fullness from having all my kids.

Yeah hun I had overs 525 and I couldn’t of wished for better result even if u had to have slightly larger implant ( u have to pay extra for implants larger than 525) it will still be cheaper and easier than uplift . X

Thanks girls princesskitty just looked at your photos they are amazing great result as are yours milliejo…I want them like that..The surgeon i saw suggested 400 overs but suggested eurosilicone implants where he decides the size of the implant by putting in a sizer during the surgery and filling it with saline,and then he picks the implant that he thinks will give the best result. I have an appointment with him tomorrow so going to see what he says, this is my 3rd appointment with him, but he not willing to say how he thinks i will look, but says i will get the best result possible!!!!

Hi Charlie12, just had a look at your pics, thanks for sharing. I was wondering who your surgeon is? I was told that I would need to have 525 or have an uplift and that I probably wouldn’t be happy with the result and would be back within a year for corrective surgery. I measure 21cm and my boobs are a lot smaller than yours. I felt that my boobs weren’t that bad that I would be happy with the scarring of an uplift and that 525 would be too big (am changing my mind on that last part after seeing the great results people have had on here!)

I guess it all depends on what look you are after, if you want full pert boobs then an uplift is the way forward, if you just want a bigger version of what you have already and are happy with a degree of sagging (that will probably worsen with the weight of an implant) then just go for a BA.

Sorry forgot to say the surgeon is dr labros chatzis, im living in ireland,im now seriously considering going for consultation with mya and mr singh i rang them today and am waiting for a return call. i have a consultation with mr chatzis tomorrow.Who is your surgeon?

Yeah, I know, their boobies are fab! I went to the Hospital Group last year, can’t remember the surgeons name, I think he was Italian. But what he said put me off and I just walked away and put it to the back of my mind. Becoming obsessed about it again now and am surgeon shopping and trying to find out more info. This site is fantastic for real life before and after pictures. Great to get an idea of what you could achieve. I think I might put some photos up soon of my sad puppies to see what everyone thinks x
