:shamed:Hi there! i am due to have an Uplift and implant with Transform Cosmetic Group, and they wrote to my GP just to ask for any history of medical conditions etc, that may stop me from having the procedure. My GP wrote backt them saying ” i advise jane to wait till approx Dec 09-june 10, due to having a baby 10 months ago” . tranform then rang me saying this now causes a problem, and means id have to wait till december to have it done, unless i go back to my Doctor and ask him to do another letter. I did go see my GP and he said that was only advice, and its completely up to me if i go aghead in Sept. So he wrote this on the letter and i have faxed it back to them and rang them aswell, saying cos ive given birth 10 months ago, this does not prevent me having my op!.
My GP was quite suprised as he said the surgeons are more expericened in this, so they should know anyway and not be asking him!.
I am now worried that Tranform will make me wait till December, as i asked them yesterday if there would be any problems, but they said they will now need to speak to head office to see if the procedue can go ahead on the said date of Sept 15th!!.
God i do hope so, as this has taken alot of planning, i have had tio take time off work, plan child care with my mum for my 2 kids! and theres no way ill be able to get the time off over december! and i wouldnt wanna ruin my kids xmas!. So what i am asking is, do you think my cosmetic group will carry on and do me the op on 15th!! as they were all for it before! thanks !!!
