Please read-any girls who have had an infection really need help

Hi girls sorry for the threads I keep positing I am just in a major panick1 Have any girls who have had an infection could you tell me what symptons youve had? Its weird I have pain and a little fluid leak from my right breast but its gone softer and the swelling has gone down. Its red and painful to touch on the incision area. If its gone softer as the day has gone on surley this is a good sighns? I am really panicking and would really really appreicate some advice

Hi Jasmine, that’s horrible feel really bad for you. Don’t know what the best tjing to do is but if it was me I wouldn’t wait for it to get worse, I’d go straight to my local walk in centre or emergency doctor just to get piece of mind and advice what to do. Its horrible worrying hope you get it sorted! x

Hi Hun what have you been advised so far? Have u had it swabbed yet? I was told not to get it wet at all, no touching it, take painkillers and to just cover with gauze so air can get to it.

It’s so gutting, I’m 6 weeks PO tomoz and no chance of wearing a normal bra anytime soon. Xx

Hey hun. Buy antiseptic wipes. Keep it clean and dry. Waterproof dressing from the chemist are great! The nurse also squeezed all the fluid out of mine before applying an iodine dressing for 5 days to draw it out plus antibiotics. They didn’t seem worried at all about mine and said that as long as the whole breast isn’t red and hot then it is just a soft tissue infection. You will be fine after some antibiotics as sounds like you have caught it early before it spreads to the implant. Try not to panic hun as they will be able to sort it out. Xxx

Thanks so much girls youve stopped me from having a nervous break down thank you for your advice. I rang the nurse again and she told me she will try and see if some one is avaible tommrow to check me at the Fitzroy, ive just gone out to buy some savalon and some plasters to cover the wound. I feel so sick with worry its horrible not knowing how bad it is yet. I jusdt hope that someone will see me at the clinic tommrow how long did it take for your infections to clear up and do any of you have any pics so I can comapir thanks again ladies
