PO 7days still in pain ?

When does it stop?

I have good hours of the day but then the rest are still painful ? I feel like someone is ripping my chest apart and my boobs tighten real fast then they release (like contractions when in labour) so weird!!!!

I have nurses apt tomorrow to have strapping off and I can’t tell you how relieved I will be to get this bloody strap off me it’s making me feel worse!!

Please tell me someone can relate ?

I’m having complications though unfortunately. I will be honest for me having the strapping off didn’t feel as relieving as I imagined it would be but hopefully you will feel better.

Ah no. Did you have unders? I’m starting to feel the pain quite badly now il be post op day 2 tomorrow. I can’t imagine feeling alright in a few days time either lol xx

Thanks girls…..I hope having the strapping of helps a little, I’m actually dreading it today that I couldn’t sleep well at all last night!!
Yes I had unders so pain exceptional but still…it’s so life changing, like I can’t do normal things like put my hair up or even brush it! I’m not too bad once I’ve got past that wake up morning stiffness pain, I tend to walk around the house to walk it off! Then by evening again I’m so sore!

Elle post op day 2&3 were my worst days, I cried most of it and I’m a 30 year old lady who has given birth twice with no pain relief ? I’ve been such a baby!!! ??

Oh Vicky I am having the same problem. I’m 3 days post op and am in absolute agony! ? night times are the worst can’t sleep.. Hoping it get better Xx

Hope you all start to feel ok very soon, I managed to put a jumper over my head today and put my hair up, so progress! And yes Chanel night times are the worst ?

Hi ladies, all went well no concerns, right Brest is a little swollen so she said just put some ice on it when I get home, but no excess fluid ?? and stitches looking ok, just need to make sure I keep them clean! oh and they are HUGE!!!!! Xx

I’m day 5 post op and today is the first day I’ve felt a bit more active and can actually turn lights on and open the fridge it does get better girlies just be patient I know it’s so hard !! Happy healing xxx

Oh that’s good news 🙂 at least you know there’s no fluid and nothing to worry about on that level. That’s what I’m worrying about getting capsular contracture n all that right now! Xx

Hi Vicky, really glad everything went well today & theyve assured you its all ok! That’s great too that you’re happy with the results- must be a relief after not seeing them during all the pain. it’s my turn tomorrow, have started peeling the strapping away at the top… Pain is getting much better & waking up is by far the worst, I get out of bed instantly to get the ice! Xx

Yeah im getting there slowly, I’m feel good today, I’ve been doing stuff Alday, I cooked dinner tonight for the first time in a week ? the strapping is definitely a relief once off, felt so good. OMG no1 warned me the nurse would be pulling out stitches ?that hurt but was over in no time! She give them a wipe over took some pics, covered up the stitches put my Macom on and I was on my way! Can’t have a shower until tomorrow she said though, dying for one!
