    Hey ladies,

So I say so much pain but it’s only in my left breast, starting from where the incision is and I’m getting strange shooting pain that stays around the area or goes up! Is this normal? I don’t think the pain killers I’ve been given are any good! I know I’m only day 2 but still I’m worried that the incisions are open or something 🙁 such a worrier! Can anyone put my mind at ease?

Hiya Hun the shooting pains are totally normal, I had terrible shooting pains in my right breast for a good week :-/ ice packs worked brilliant for me & try not to move about as much till it settles Hun I know it’s hard but it will ease off giving time & patience x

I know exactly how you feel! Just keep on top of your painkillers or switch to something else? Ice packs work wonders like Lisa said and all I’ve done since Saturday is lay on the sofa. It’ll get better trust me. I’m POD4 now and I’ve just managed to get myself dressed and go out for a walk. If you’re really worried give your PC a call but it’s probably all in your head. I’d be worried if they went really hard or started bleeding or something xx

Your welcome @beth I’m 2wpo today & still get the odd striking pain babe, it’s just your muscle/nerves knitting back together around your new implants, it will calm down hunni & get easier 🙂 maybe change your meds to paracetamol & ibuprofen to help the swelling if you haven’t already done so x
