Pointless appointment

So I’m 1 week post op from having my rhino and ive just had an appointment just basically to check if everything is ok! Which I could have told them I’m fine over the phone, they didn’t take the stent off (which I didn’t think they was going to do anyway) but to travel all that way….. was there really any point? On a happier note, my appointment to take the stent off is next Monday at 12:30. So excited 😀 xx

That’s bizarre ? My clinic only booked me in for the 12 days after ? For splint removal , my nurse said they only require paitients who had open rhinoplasty to have their stitches out , I’m glad I don’t have to make the trip twice , but of a pain for you but atleast cast come off soon ☺️☺️ X

In the back of my mind I always knew they wasn’t going to be doing anything today, but they didn’t even check my blood pressure! She looked up my nose and that was about it! Lol, although she did say once the splint comes off there probably will be swelling and a bit of bruising (but thats nothing a bit of concealer won’t fix) your lucky you go back on the 12th day, when I go back it’ll be the 14th day! How are you feeling about the GA, still nervous or have you found a way to calm down about it yet x

thats is a waste of time really,, they should call you in if your really worried or hurt it etc but i guess it better to be safer. how are you feeling? x

Thats true i suppose sherry, I’m still doing really well, I’ve been out a few times the past week, covered my face as much as I possibly could, but in the end I thought I’m never going to see these people again so moved the scarf from my face, I’ve also knocked it a few times, which was pure accidental done by myself, that hurt for a few minutes, but once the pain eased off I was fine, the itching as eased off now too x

But atleast that’s over and done with ! I know I was offered either 12th day po or 14 thy decision was a no brainer! lol . I’m absolutely petrified but I’m trying not to think about it too much , just keep thinking this time in 3 weeks I’ll either have a new nose or in a morgue lol !! Can you see much of a different in your nose even with the splint on ? Xx

haha oh chloe you always set me off worrying too and what makes me panic is you’ve got three weeks and im not far behind. i just keep saying 21st of december is miiiiles away.lol. oh dear Cyndi…gosh i’d b scared of knockin mine in case i ruined it all. i cant wait to see ho i sleep lol. have you uploaded any pics? (hope u dont mind me asking)x

At the moment I can see a slight difference with the tip, I can see it’s been lifted however I can’t really see if it’s smaller or not because of the splint and the swelling that’s still there, I asked for a curved shape to the nose so it’ll be interesting what nose I have when the splint comes off lol, I have taken pictures every single day but I haven’t uploaded any yet because I’m going to upload them all once the splint comes off, I might make a separate Instagram to the one I have and upload some, if not I will definetly upload them on here x x
