I go to weekly pole lessons (coz the gym bores me haha) just a quick one to ask if anyone else that goes pole dancing, how long was it untill you could dance again?
I’m having unders so gonna be sore!!!!
Where do u live hun? Wud love to do pole dancing lessons just for fun but don’t think anywhere near where I live does them xx

I was told by my surgeon no exercise for 4 weeks and then only light, I do pole dancing (2 years) and I am proper missing it already and it’s only been 9 days. I had overs so I don’t know whether the healing time is different between overs and unders. I will keep ya posted on my progress with the pole dancing so by the time you have your op i ‘ll be able to let you know, as i ‘ll be nearly 6 weeks then.

Cheers poledancer, well my friend had unders too, and shes over 6 weeks post op now and can only just about manage press-ups again I don’t want to have to go back to the start as been pole dancing for nearly a year now and love it!!
Kassie google pole schools near you. Defo give it a try it’s soooooo much fun and you don’t notice till the next day how much you work out!

i got told no exercise for 6 weeks, but my mum works at a GP and the doctor there advised me not to pole for 3months because its strenuous.
Absolutely gutted but my op is in 5week 2days so im going to see how i feel after 6 weeks.
Im advanced but only been doing it a year (quick learner) and i can see why there would be a problem getting into it too soon xx

3 months!!!!!!!!! omg i’m gonna have to start again lol! Is it ok to add you both so I know how your getting on with dancing after the op’s?
i already sent you a request asking you hehe and i know my teacher/best friend told me after 6 weeks your practically a beginner again!
Im not having it ive cracked my twisted grip this week. Pole is my life haha xx
I hope that after 6 weeks I am not practically a beginner again-noooo!!! Good to hear you’ve cracked your twisted grip, I can’t imagine not being able to do a twisted grip handspring any more and having to learn all over again. I guess i’ll just be practising my flexibility and floor work for a while xxx
it works all under arm and chest muscles so ur mums right defo no pole dancin babe, i had unders and the recovery is a sore and achey one so best to rest as much as u can till fully healed xxxxxx
